Welcome back, fellow Glory fans! If you're here to receive amazing gifts, you've come to the right place. Whichever holidays you celebrate, this is the season of generosity and gratitude. Let's unite as fans under the Glory banner and have some fun!Our Secret Santa event is low-stress and easy to follow. Sign up, drop your prompts, and wait to be matched with another participant. Before you proceed, however, please consult the rules and schedule, or Santa Ye Xiu will be putting you on the naughty list.Here's to a glorious year! Happy holidays!

Rules

  1. Be respectful of all participants' works. Kindly appreciate the amount of time and effort they put into it.

  2. Secret Santas must receive comments from their giftees.

  3. Fics must be at least 1000 words long and completed.

  4. Artwork must at least be colored (or shaded, in the case of B&W artwork).

  5. All gifts should follow the giftee's prompts to the best of the Secret Santa's ability. Giftees may compose Dear Santa letters to specify their preferences.

  6. Fanworks must be tagged appropriately and posted under the correct warnings. Please follow our event guidelines.

  7. Do not submit fanworks that have been previously published. Do not plagiarize already existing fanworks.

  8. Secret Santas will not be revealed until the specified date. Identities must be hidden until then! Don't spoil the surprise.

  9. We must be notified of dropouts/defaulting ASAP. This is an event that depends on everyone's contributions and dedication. Please consider signing up as a pinch-hitter to fill in for absentees.

  10. Concerning participants below the age of 18: Minors are allowed to join the event, but may not submit NSFW prompts or receive NSFW gifts.

Event Guidelines

UPDATED 2023

  • Our primary posting platform is AO3. Participants must have an AO3 account. If you do not have one yet, please go ahead and make it ASAP because there is a waiting list.

  • On AO3, publish fanworks into our collection, QZGS Secret Santa 2023 (search “qzgsss2023”). Tag works with “QZGS Secret Santa 2023”.

  • Make sure to gift your work to the intended recipient. You can only do this with their AO3 handle. Note: some accounts are set to approve gifts, so participants, make sure you check which gifted works are pending approval!

  • Participants may only post on other platforms AFTER SECRET SANTA REVEALS. Click here to learn how to embed images if you are an artist. AO3 also has other useful image settings, so do what you prefer. Just don't post your work elsewhere too soon.

  • On other platforms (Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, etc.) please tag with #qzgs secret santa and #qzgs secret santa 2023 (no spaces if they're not allowed). Please link to the giftee's account and to the AO3 collection.

  • WRITERS: If you must add author’s notes to your works, take care not to accidentally identify yourself or reveal too much.

  • ARTISTS: Do not watermark or sign your works. You may replace your work with a watermarked and signed version after Secret Santa reveals.

  • All participants must return contact, as in, we won't accept "Sorry, almost done" as an apology when it's 11 PM on December 24 and you still haven't submitted your gift and we've been trying to contact you for three days. Lack of communication is grounds for exclusion from future events.
